Call for Proposals: Appointment of External Audit Firm

Hand in Hand Southern Africa , a registered non-profit organisation, is seeking to appoint an external audit firm.

Scope of Work 

The appointed audit firm will be required to:

1. Conduct an independent audit of Hand in Hand Southern Africa's annual financial statements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).

2. Express an audit opinion on the financial statements prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Provide management letters with recommendations on internal control improvements.

4. Attend meetings with management and the Board/Audit Committee, where necessary.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested firms must:

-Be registered with the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA).

- Demonstrate experience auditing non-profit organisations or similar donor-funded entities.

- Have a track record of compliance with audit quality and ethical standards.

- Submit valid B-BBEE certification and tax compliance status.

2. Proposed team composition and partner responsible

3. Work plan and methodology

4. Fee structure

5. References from recent and relevant clients
