HIV COMBINATION PREVENTION

HIH will be supporting Adolescent Girls and Young Women in targeted HIV hotspots with the aim to increase retention in school, decrease HIV incidence, teenage pregnancy, and gender-based violence, and Increase economic opportunities for young women and girls. HIH will provide a comprehensive HIV combination prevention package with economic strengthening interventions focused on Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) and their male partners.

 Our programmes focus on community mobilisation, prevention education, voluntary HIV counselling and testing services, linkage to care, advocacy, sensitisation for HIV/AIDS mitigation, community dialogues and awareness campaigns against Gender-Based Violence (GBV), incredibly intimate partner violence (IPV) and social and economic strengthening to re-establish businesses and livelihoods lost during community attacks.
